McCoy Development

McCoy Development is a major force in the planning, renovation and building of Medicine Park.

The McCoy's donated several properties centrally located, including the creeks, Parks, and swimming area, allowing the Town to continue evolving as a vibrant "gateway'' community to the adjacent Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. The latest donation is an 8+ acre hillside bordering the Wildlife Refuge and Lake Elmer Thomas Recreation Area, which will be the site of the new "Medicine Park Museum of Natural Science", an exciting aquarium/zoo/botanical garden.

McCoy Development has been involved in renovating and building several cabins being leased for overnight lodging accommodations, office space for professionals, and retail spaces for dining and shopping.

The McCoy's built over 30+ custom homes in Medicine Park with a commitment to keep the Medicine Park flavor and charm with great amenities, energy saving construction methods and cobblestone accents. These homes include a 14 lot creek side development called "Water Walk" and a 31 lot mountain side development called "Granite Ridge."

McCoy Development built the "Plantation Inn" for the owner, Forrest Ray in 2010, two residential creek front properties for sale by General Baxter, "The Medicine Park Ice Cream and Candy Store" retail space, "The Branded Bear" retail space, and are currently remodeling the old Medicine Park Cobblestone School building for much needed in town office space.

Our goals involve improving and developing Medicine Park to attract full time residents and tourists alike, with authentic charm, quality built structures and future building projects.
